frequently asked questions
Is this church denominational?
No. We are a group of believers who seek to be only Christians without
being part of any denomination. The term "church of Christ" is not a title
used in a sectarian sense, but is a descriptive term indicating a belonging
to Christ. The Bible uses the term this way too; "the churches of Christ greet you"
(Romans 16:16).
Do you actually believe non-denominational Christianity is possible?
Yes, absolutely! But, not unless we are willing to forego the creed books
and think-sos of men and get back to the Bible. If the seed, which is the
word of God (cf. Luke 8:11), produced Christians as recorded in the New
Testament, then if we plant that same seed today, it will produce the very
same thing - Christians.
What is your attiude toward the Bible?
We believe in the divine inspiration of the entire Bible and that it is
sufficient to guide us in all matters of faith. We believe the Bible's
testimony about God and His one and only Son, Jesus. We attempt to let
the Bible, and the Bible only, serve as our guide for Christian living,
worship and teaching.
What is your worship like?
Our worship is simple. We sing, pray, take the Lord's Supper, and hear
a message from the Bible. It is a time for us to praise God and to
encourage one another. Our worship is reverent and orderly, but not
ritualistic. We desire to worship God in spirit and in truth! You can learn
more about our worship services by reading
our invitiation to you.
How do I join the church?
There really isn't a concept of "joining the church" in the Bible. The same
process which makes one a Christian also adds one to the church. This can
be seen in Acts 2:38-47. More information can be found in the article,
